Who Won the Weigh In?

Brook. That’s who won. I would tell you how proud I am of her, how good she looks, and how she deserved that victory, but she wouldn’t want me to say any of that stuff, so I’ll just say… YOU GOT LUCKY WATSON! The victor’s dinner: Steak topped with crab and a (made from scratch) Béarnaise sauce, asparagus, and a cheesy cauliflower rice. February will be a different story. I’m currently working on my master plan to amp up my progress....

Week 3 Results and a Surprise Gift

To my knowledge, I have about 4 regular readers of my daily ramblings: Brook Lynn My daughter, Eliana Grace My mom, Molinda Brook’s mom, Tina It’s been encouraging to get some feedback and interest in what I’m doing, especially from my kiddo. It’s not always easy for dads and daughters to maintain a good relationship in the teen years. We live in different worlds, but we’ve managed to stay close (even though I’m sure she doesn’t tell me everything that she has going on....

Week 2 Results

As predicted, no movement in the scale this week. I feel like I’ve gained some muscle in my legs, so I’m hoping that has something to do with it. I’m currently wearing a shirt that previously looked like it was going to send a button or two flying across the room whenever I sat down; now it fits properly. Perhaps next week will be more dramatic. You hang in there…I’ll do the same....

Week 1 Results

Week 1 is in the books! 🙌 I’ll keep this relatively short, but wanted to share a couple of things I’ve noticed already: I’m amazed by how quickly I’ve adjusted to my daily walk. The first day was a shock to my system. I was huffing, puffing, and trudging along for the entire mile. I’ve already seen a massive improvement in only one week. I had only one night of feeling exhausted (typical as you go into Ketosis and sometimes referred to as “Keto Flu”)....
