There will be minimal rambling from me today. We try to keep our Sundays family focused (it doesn’t always work out that way, but that’s always the goal).

This morning I made a spinach, mushroom, bacon and chorizo fritada for breakfast. We ate, then headed to church. It was a great service today and I still have to write down my thoughts sometime before bed.

After church, we somehow ended up at the Yellowstone County Animal Shelter, where we strongly considered adopting a dog named Archimedes. When I say strongly considered, I mean everyone voted to take him home, except me. The plan is to sleep on it tonight and perhaps bring him home tomorrow.

My wonderful fiancée, Brook Lynn, joined me on my walk today. We enjoyed a beautiful sunset and some great conversations about life, family and our future. 💘

I was up a pound and some change this morning, but I’m not going to fret about it. That’s the danger of weighing every day. I’m hoping to be safely in the 220’s by the end of this week.
