Today was test workout day. I had no idea what my limitations would be, but I wanted to figure that out before February 1st (tomorrow). I decided to split things up. It’s still cold out, but I wanted to do once around the loop (1 mile) before I tried the Fitness+ workout. After my walk, I had only a few minutes before Brook got off work so I thought I’d better do the 10 minute workout instead of the 20…what a joke. 7 minutes in to the workout (hosted by a senior citizen no less), I was done. This was a core strength routine and as it turns out, I have little of that at this point. But hey, that’s what I’m here for, right?
The bright side is this: It’s not going to be hard to up my game. In fact, I already went back and went through the workout again. I did most of it. I went through it all, but perhaps took an extra 20 seconds here and there to relax my arms.
On tap for tomorrow:
- Do it ‘til I do it right (make it through the whole thing without missing a beat)
- Establish a morning and night routine
- Start counting calories

At some point before I go to sleep I will find a suitable calorie counting app for my phone. I don’t look forward to tediously entering every bite I swallow, but I know from other aspects of my life that the mere observation will affect it. I look forward to some great updates in February! 💪
