I’m currently in Salt Lake City waiting to board my flight for Spokane. My wonderful, new water bottle that Eliana bought me is back in Billings where I stupidly left it. š I am able to use the app that came with it though, just manually adding whatever I consume.
Obviously I couldn’t travel with my protein shakes, and didn’t want to try to bring 5 nights worth of keto stuff with me, so I’m dealing with airport food today. So far that’s:
- Two hard boiled eggs at the bustling Billings airport (pictured above),
- A bun-less double Smash burger here in Salt Lake.
Got 2+ miles in walking back and forth on the B concourse, so I feel accomplished. I might even try to get some extra in if the hotel has a treadmill in a room with no other humans. I have to make this week count to ensure my victory over Brook. She sneakily acquired a cold which may shift the odds in her favor if it gets any worse. I pray she has a speedy recovery and a nice milk shake for her scratchy throat.
UPDATE
When I arrived at my hotel there was a package waiting…
Turns out it was a care package full of keto goodies from my amazing fiancĆ©e, Brook Lynn. I would have posted a picture of the contents, but I opened the box upside down and dumped the decorative paper all over the place. There were plenty: Protein shakes, Parmesan crisps, beef jerky, cheese, pork rinds, protein chips, tuna, celery sticks…the list goes on. I mean, how lucky can a guy get? ā¤ļø
Love you, babe! (But if this is just so I won’t try to win our bet, you’re wasting your time, Watson!)
