As promised, back on the daily supplements plus one men’s multi-vitamin. Tomorrow, I’ll not only be starting my day with a good amount of capsules filled with all natural things that I don’t understand the scientific benefits of, but I’ll also start with some sort of heart revving cardio workout from the Fitness+ app.

I remember seeing a documentary on Nova a few years ago about these Australian (maybe?) doctors (I think) who claimed that a morning sprint (not run… sprint …as fast as you can) could be more beneficial than a gym membership. The theory was that when you exerted yourself in that way for 30 seconds, the blood cells (which, if you remember from high school biology, are doughnut shaped…sans the hole) would increase their capacity to deliver oxygen to the body. While you’re “sucking wind”, their doughnut dent is getting deeper.

That sounds plausible enough for me to believe it, but leaves enough doubt to prevent me from googling it for fear of learning that I can’t get the benefits of a complete workout in a minute or less. Of course, if you want to confirm or crush the theory, let me google that for you and you can leave your findings in the comments below.

May you have a wonderful Monday (or whatever tomorrow is named in your current temporal location) and I’ll check in soon.

The Brook Lynn Blur 1 joined me for a walk in the park today. She’s a motivator. I was ready to be done when we hit the two miles, but she made us press on. Just under 3 miles in the park, plus a little more in the most God-forsaken terrain in Montana… Wal-Mart.
