As predicted, the weather was good, but still too cold for my daughter to be outdoors, so I settled for a solo walk around the neighborhood. Full disclosure: I’m feeling pretty run down, and I think I know why. I started this journey taking supplements, but I didn’t want to take them on my trip to Spokane and have not yet resumed taking them. I’ll fix that tomorrow.

A Note About Keto

I feel like I’m setting a bad example. The supplements are (evidently) an important part of this process and I should have stuck to the plan. All I can do is pick up where I left off and move forward. There is something worth mentioning, though… Despite my shortcomings, there is ONE thing I have not wavered on - The food. You can’t dip in and out of the Keto plan. If you screw up, I’m not telling you to throw in the towel, but I am telling you this - DON’T screw up! You can’t get away with sneaking a Snickers here and there. One Snickers = No more Ketosis. A “mostly keto” diet (in my non-professional opinion) can actually send the scale in the other direction.

The TLDR; version: Missing a day of exercise isn’t the end of the world, but too many carbs will ruin you. If you’re going to screw up, don’t screw up your eating.
