I snapped a potential cover photo through the window of the conference room, but opted not to use it due to the reflection in the glass. Instead I used Dall-e-2’s stable diffusion to generate some digital art of downtown Spokane. I’ll put my inferior photo below.

That’s as close as I got to being outside today. I don’t have a vehicle and didn’t bring anything warm, so I didn’t set foot outside. Speaking of clothing… I’m not exactly happy with the wardrobe I brought. I know how that sounds, but normally I would get a couple of new shirts for an event like this. It’s a rare occasion and a good excuse to buy some clothes; however, now is not the time to buy them.

Brook makes fun of me for being a “brand snob”, but that isn’t really the case…I’m a quality snob. I don’t like clothes with huge brand names printed on them for the same reason I didn’t like the Hummer H2 - It’s obnoxious. I do however like to get my shirts and pants from an actual clothier…not two aisles over from the milk like Brook prefers. Truth be told, I’ve already selected some of my post-dad-bod (at least, smaller-dad-bod) clothes. I almost bought them based on the size I intend to be, but that just didn’t seem smart. I mean, I’m committed to hitting my goals, but I’m not willing to bet on whether or not I hit them before some return window closes.

For now, I’ll lug around my fat shirts and pants, but keep my eye on where I’m headed.

Also, I know I’m new to this, but I have a fitness tip that I can share with you…I learned it today:

When using a treadmill, wear shoes
